Division Summary
The objective of the Human Resources (HR) department is to lead, advise, support and partner with the business to enable the Bank achieve its strategic intent. The constantly changing commercial and regulatory landscape heavily dictates the way in which the Bank operates and evolves and our role in HR is to support the business in their people plans with hiring the right people, training them well and ensuring that our reward strategy aligns to the desired conduct and culture of the Bank.
Job Purpose
Reporting to the HR MI, Data and Systems Manager, the HR MI and Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality HR management information, analytics and reporting that enable informed business and people decisions across the Bank. The role will analyse and interpret workforce data, produce meaningful insights and help develop reporting solutions that support HR, senior management and business stakeholders. The role will contribute to the design, delivery and continuous improvement of HR reporting, dashboards and analytics, ensuring data is accurate, timely and aligned to business requirements. Working closely with HR stakeholders, the HR MI and Reporting Analyst will identify opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities, streamline processes and improve access to workforce data and insight. The HR MI and Reporting Analyst will support the Bank's data-driven HR strategy through the application of reporting technologies, automation and data governance principles. The role will also assist with HR systems optimisation, reporting transformation initiatives and broader HR data and analytics projects helping to enhance operational effectiveness, improve data quality and strengthen the use of people analytics across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Management Information and Analytics
- Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards and visualisations using approved reporting tools (e.g. Excel, Alteryx).
- Conduct workforce analytics to provide insight into headcount, organisational structure, hiring activity, diversity, attrition and employee performance.
- Produce commentary and insights to accompany management information, identifying key trends, risks and opportunities.
- Support the development of new metrics and KPIs aligned to HR and business objectives.
- Assist with benchmarking exercises using internal and external market data.
- Reporting
- Maintain and enhance reporting solutions to improve accuracy, consistency and efficiency.
- Scheduling and managing the production of regular and ad-hoc MI.
- Support the automation of recurring reporting processes, reducing manual intervention and operational risk.
- Develop reporting specifications and translate business requirements into meaningful management information solutions.
- Create presentations, dashboards and executive reports for senior leadership, ExCo and Board-level audiences.
- Investigate data anomalies and resolve reporting issues in a timely manner.
- Data Integrity and Governance
- Support data quality reviews and reconciliation activities across HR systems and reporting outputs.
- Assist in the implementation and adherence to HR data governance standards, policies and controls.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality and work with stakeholders to address root causes.
- Maintain appropriate documentation for reporting processes, definitions, calculations and data sources.
- Ensure all reporting activities comply with data protection, confidentiality and information security requirements.
- Systems and Process Improvement
- Support the administration, testing and optimisation of HR systems and reporting platforms.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for system enhancements, upgrades and new functionality.
- Assist in the design and implementation of automated workflows and reporting solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR data, reporting and analytics capabilities.
- Project Management
- Deliver workstreams for HR data, reporting and systems projects, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
- Assist with the implementation of new reporting solutions, dashboards and data models.
- Support change management and user adoption activities for new HR reporting and system enhancements.
- Maintain project documentation, plans and status updates for stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management
- Build effective working relationships with HR, Finance, Technology and business stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for HR reporting and analytics queries.
- Provide training, guidance and support to end users on reporting tools, dashboards and self-service analytics.
- Communicate technical concepts and analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in STEM subjects or equivalent role experience.
- Previous MI reporting and analysis experience in a global corporate environment, HR preferable.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite with advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in Excel Macros advantageous.
- Experience of working in a regulated environment, ideally Financial Services (Banking knowledge).
