Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements:
- Commercial backend software engineering experience
- Experience with Golang; the job title specifies Golang language only
- Experience developing backend microservices and REST APIs
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or comparable asynchronous messaging technologies
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD
- Experience with Git-based version control
- Experience delivering work in an Agile or Scrum environment
- Ability to attend our Burgess Hill office three days per week
- Skills in backend engineering, CI/CD, Git, Agile, Kafka, SQL, Docker, and gRPC
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and microservices
- Build REST APIs and service integrationsDevelop services using Golang
- Implement asynchronous communication using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent messaging technologies
- Write and maintain automated unit, component, functional, integration, and regression tests
- Support software through continuous integration and deployment pipelines
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions
- Collaborate with engineers, product stakeholders, and other delivery team members
