What you’ll do:

  • Design and implement migrations of infrastructure and services from old to new platform.
  • Liaise with service owners to arrange suitable timing for migration activities.
  • Adhere to strict change control guardrails.
  • Build automation for new platform.
  • Understand and modify existing code to work with new technologies.
  • Create new deployment pipelines using approved technologies.
  • Adhere to configuration and API standards.
  • Knowledge share and ability to work in a supportive manner with the distributed team.

What you need to have to succeed in this role:

  • Solid technical knowledge of Python, API development and code testing and review.
  • Hands on experience with automation languages, platforms and tools (Bash, Jenkins/CICD pipelines, Terraform, Ansible, Hashicorp Vault).
  • Good basic knowledge of networking concepts (BGP, Routing, TCP/IP, certificates/PKI, VMware, KVM) with a focus on F5 load balancers.
