This is an Email Engineer role with global responsibility. The role will report to the Email Engineering PoD Lead and will be part of the Collaboration Engineering Cluster POD within End User Services CTOi. Act as a Global Subject Matter Expert for email technologies, primarily Microsoft 365 Exchange Online (cloud), Exchange Hybrid (MRS and Edge servers), Microsoft Exchange SE (on premise), Outlook clients (M365 App for Enterprise and New Outlook), OWA and Outlook mobile app (iOS and Android). Ensure that the Exchange email service is running at optimal performance by working with different teams, vendors and partners globally. Be able to support and lead incident management escalation and crisis calls related to Exchange technical issues impacting the email service globally. Support new email large scale projects and initiatives aimed at IT optimization & cost reduction, increase user productivity & security, support business growth or meet regulatory requirements.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Extensive experience of supporting and engineering Exchange Email on premise and Exchange Hybrid environments as part of a large organisation.
- Experience on migrating large number of mailboxes to M365 Exchange Online.
- Solid working and engineering knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server SE (automation, troubleshooting, high availability / disaster recovery, security).
