Join a dynamic and innovative team within our Edinburgh based client's Cyber Security function, specifically focusing on Threat Intelligence analysis. This role involves Threat Intelligence and Threat Hunting within an enterprise level environment. The role itself will be a rolling 6 month contract in addition to the option to transition permanently with the client on a very competitive package.
Responsibilities
- Analyse and interpret threat intelligence data to identify potential risks.
- Conduct threat hunting activities to proactively detect and mitigate security threats.
- Utilise tools such as Splunk, CrowdStrike, and Tenable to monitor and manage security threats.
- Apply the Mitre Defence Framework to enhance threat detection and response strategies.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Threat Intelligence and Cyber Security.
- Ideally proficiency in using tools like Splunk, CrowdStrike, and Tenable.
- Familiarity with the Mitre Defence Framework.
