Job Description: Service Transition Manager Location: Farnborough, UK (fully on-site) Clearance: DV Cleared Role Overview We are seeking an experienced, DV Cleared Service Transition Manager to lead the migration of services from an existing supplier to a new service model. You will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing the end-to-end service transition process for a large, multi-sited customer. This role requires a full-time, on-site presence in the Farnborough area. Key Responsibilities
Manage the transition of services from the incumbent supplier to the new operating model.
Develop and execute a comprehensive service transition plan.
Coordinate all parties involved in the transition, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Work alongside an Operational Readiness Lead to ensure the business is prepared for the new services.
Skills and Experience
Mandatory: Must hold current and valid DV (Developed Vetting) clearance.
Demonstrable Experience as a Service Transition Manager on large-scale IT service transition projects.
Deep understanding of ITIL principles and service transition methodologies.
Ability to work on-site, 5 days a week, in the Farnborough area is essential.
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage complex dependencies.
