Data Product Manager, Premium Data Contract: 6 months potential to extend Location: UK, hybrid working Sector: Insurance / Financial Services We are seeking an experienced Data Product Manager to shape and deliver a strategic premium data product within a major Finance Transformation programme. This role will establish a trusted, governed and reusable view of premium and commission data across multiple business areas and source systems. You will define the product vision, scope and roadmap, working closely with senior Finance, underwriting, Data, Technology and Architecture stakeholders.
Key responsibilities Define the vision, outcomes and roadmap for the premium data product.
Lead discovery across premium and commission processes, reporting requirements, pain points and data flows.
Own the product across source systems, data interfaces, transformation, conformance and downstream consumption.
Establish common data definitions, dimensions, business rules and levels of data granularity.
Build and prioritise an integrated roadmap and backlog, managing dependencies and delivery trade-offs.
Work with business owners and subject-matter experts to establish clear ownership, accountability and sign-off.
Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, architecture, data quality, analysis, reporting and testing.
Define data governance, lineage, metadata, reconciliation, access and quality requirements.
Support adoption across reporting, analytics, planning and executive decision-making.
Establish the ongoing operating model, including stewardship, support and continuous improvement.
Required experience Proven experience defining and managing data products from discovery and strategy through to delivery, adoption and ongoing stewardship.
Strong understanding of complex data landscapes involving multiple systems, business units and data models.

Strong stakeholder-management skills across senior business, Finance, Data and Technology audiences.
