Job Title: Data Project Manager Job Description This role focuses on coordinating and driving the delivery of data, analytics and AI initiatives where requirements are evolving and not fully defined upfront. You will work across multiple workstreams, guiding stakeholders and technical teams to shape objectives, discover requirements and deliver innovative data solutions using agile and iterative approaches. Responsibilities Manage multiple concurrent workstreams and a diverse range of stakeholders across the business. Coordinate end-to-end delivery of data, analytics and AI projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Drive agile and iterative delivery approaches, promoting continuous improvement and rapid feedback cycles. Facilitate requirement discovery sessions with business stakeholders to clarify needs and define outcomes. Lead proofs of concept (POCs) and innovation initiatives to explore new data and AI capabilities. Help shape project objectives and solution direction where the business is unsure of what is possible. Work closely with technical teams, including analysts and data engineers, to translate business needs into practical solutions. Oversee project progress, manage risks and issues, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones. Promote collaboration between business and technical teams to support effective data and analytics workflows. Essential Skills Proven experience in agile delivery, applying iterative methodologies to complex projects. experience managing data-focused projects, covering data platforms, analytics and related technologies. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage, influence and build consensus. Solid understanding of SQL, data platforms and analytics workflows, enabling effective communication with technical teams. Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments, providing structure and clarity where requirements are not fully defined.
