We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer / Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join a major project within Security operations for our Edinburgh based client. This project is focusing on enhancing cyber resilience by understanding and addressing weaknesses in important business services. This will be an initial 6 month contract with the option to transition permanently up to a 67k base salary. The initial contract will be Inside IR35.
Responsibilities
- Engage in Security analysis and general Security Engineering tasks.
- Support with Threat Modelling to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance the cyber resilience of important business services.
- Commit to working 50% of the week in-office.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years industry experience in Security Operations Analysis or Engineering.
- Experience with SIEM, Threat Hunting/Intelligence is ideal.
- Understanding of Red Team strategies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- A degree in Cyber Security or Forensics is highly beneficial.
