The predicted salary is between 21 - 21 £ per hour.

This role provides members and prospective members with a full range of financial products and services, including depository accounts (checking, savings, certificates, IRAs, revocable trusts, and estate accounts) and lending products and credit/debit cards. You will perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision, support daily branch operations, and provide guidance to less experienced team members to ensure an excellent member experience.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, research, and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts and loans in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist members with submitting applications for consumer, mortgage, equity, overdraft protection, and credit card products, ensuring all information is complete and accurate.
  • Counsel current and prospective members on available financial products and services, helping them choose solutions that meet their needs.
  • Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled, stored, and processed properly in accordance with established procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to cross‑service additional products and increase product penetration by actively listening to member needs.
  • Perform platform banking functions, including account opening, maintenance, and related member service activities.
  • Provide assistance and informal training to Level I team members to support their development and maintain consistent service standards.
  • Understand and comply with federal and other regulations relating to financial products and services, following all applicable policies and procedures.
  • Assist with branch office vault opening, closing, and balancing procedures as needed.
  • Serve as a branch office and/or ATM vault custodian when assigned, maintaining appropriate controls and documentation.
  • Escort members to and from the branch when required, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall branch operations and member satisfaction.

Essential Skills

  • Proven customer service experience in a member- or customer-facing environment.
  • Experience working in a banking, finance, or similar financial services setting.
  • Proficiency in data entry with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle cash and negotiable instruments securely and accurately.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to research and resolve account and loan discrepancies using available systems and resources.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for counseling members on products and services.
  • Ability to comply with federal and other regulations relating to financial products and services.
  • Capability to support and assist lower-level team members in daily tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in an inbound call center or similar high-volume customer contact environment.
  • Cross‑servicing or upselling financial products and services.
  • Comfort working in a structured, process-driven financial institution environment.

Work Environment

The role is based in a branch office environment that combines traditional teller and platform banking functions. Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.42 per hour. Requirements eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
