Role Outline
Working in a team of 2, the Accounts Assistant will have full responsibility for a number of bank reconciliations within the AGI Staffing EMEA group. The successful candidate will be an ambitious individual with a desire to start their career in a high performing corporate finance department.

Responsibilities

  • To complete weekly bank reconciliations for all AGI Staffing EMEA entities
  • Team will be tasked with maintaining up to 45 bank accounts in various currencies
  • Ensure all reconciling items are thoroughly investigated with the relevant teams in a timely manner, with a detailed analysis on any items still unreconciled by the close period
  • Regular reviews with the Senior Accountant to continually review the bank reconciliation process, including unreconciled items, suggesting efficiencies and improving controls
  • To build effective relationships across the business, including Accounts Payable, Payroll, Treasury and Accounts Receivable
  • To support the Accounting Team with tasks such, but not limited to, journal postings, Audit support, Intercompany reconciliations, recharges and any other ad-hoc tasks
  • Assist Accounting Team with Audit tasks, being the main point of contact for Bank reconciliation requests
