Job Title: Financial Control Professional
Job Description
We are seeking a Financial Control Professional on a 6-month contract to enhance the financial controls within our business unit. The successful candidate will bring expertise in financial control and project management to ensure the robustness of our financial operations.
Responsibilities Identify, rationalise, and document appropriate accounting treatments against project deliverables.
Define data requirements at transaction, product, and legal-entity levels.
Produce and review accounting papers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Design and implement a robust financial control framework.
Translate accounting and control objectives into clear project requirements and manage these through to delivery.
Communicate technical accounting and control requirements in understandable terms for non-finance stakeholders.
Make informed decisions with incomplete information while clearly documenting assumptions.
Essential Skills Proficiency in financial control methodologies and practices.
Strong project management abilities.
Technical accounting expertise.
Ability to develop and maintain financial control frameworks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications Skills in quality control and project management.
Experience in technical accounting and financial controls.
