We are seeking a permanent Azure Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our growing development team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building, improving, and evolving our current Azure technology stack. This is a remote role with the expectation of occasional office visits for team collaboration and personal development.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the .NET development team to enhance and maintain our Azure infrastructure.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Focus on typical SRE tasks such as monitoring, scaling, and continuous improvement of our systems.
- Handle some service-related queries (this is not a 24/7 on-call role).
- Work on "evergreen" projects to ensure our technology remains current.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong Azure Knowledge: A deep understanding of Azure components is mandatory. Candidates with experience primarily in other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) will not be considered.
- Bicep: Experience with Bicep is required for this role.
- Terraform: While Bicep is required, experience with Terraform is highly advantageous, as the skills are transferable.
- Microsoft Stack: The role operates within a Microsoft-centric environment, so familiarity with the ecosystem is important.
