About the Role

We are looking for an experienced AI Solutions Architect to help design and deliver practical AI solutions across products, services and internal operations.

You will identify where AI can improve automation, productivity, knowledge management and customer services, then turn these opportunities into secure, scalable and commercially viable solutions.

This is a hands‑on architecture role combining AI, data, automation, security, governance and solution design, with involvement in both customer‑facing projects and internal AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design secure and scalable AI solutions and architectures.
• Help define the organisation's AI strategy and roadmap.
• Identify opportunities to use AI to improve products, services and internal processes.
• Develop repeatable AI products, services and solution frameworks.
• Support the implementation of Generative AI, AI assistants, agents and automation.
• Design solutions using LLMs, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), enterprise search and knowledge systems.
• Build appropriate AI governance around security, privacy, data protection, risk and compliance.
• Create reference architectures, implementation guides and reusable delivery patterns.
• Work with Product, Engineering, Security, Architecture, Operations and Commercial teams.
• Support customer workshops, solution design, proposals and technical pre‑sales activity.
• Help move AI solutions from initial concept and pilot through to production and ongoing support.
• Keep up to date with developments in AI technologies, governance and industry best practices.

• Designing and delivering enterprise‑scale AI, data, automation or technology solutions.
• Working as a Solutions Architect, AI Architect, Enterprise Architect or Technical Consultant.
• Translating business requirements into technical solutions and roadmaps.
• Creating reference architectures and reusable solution patterns.
• Working closely with security, governance and engineering teams.
• Supporting customer‑facing workshops, proposals or pre‑sales activities.
• Taking technology solutions from proof of concept through to production.
• Developing or packaging reusable technology or AI offerings.

Qualifications

• Relevant certifications in the following areas would be beneficial but are not essential:
• Architecture or enterprise architecture
• AI / Machine Learning
• Cloud or data
• Security and governance
• Service management
• Responsible AI or data protection
• Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
