As demand continues to grow across the UK and EMEA, they are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Engineer to partner with enterprise customers throughout the sales cycle, providing technical expertise, solution design and trusted commercial guidance.

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical knowledge with customer engagement, helping organisations modernise their Quote-to-Cash processes through cloud technology, integrations and intelligent automation.

The Role

You'll work alongside the Sales team to qualify opportunities, understand customer challenges and design compelling technical solutions that demonstrate measurable business value.

You'll lead technical discovery sessions, deliver tailored demonstrations, facilitate solution workshops and support complex enterprise proposals, acting as the trusted technical advisor throughout the customer buying journey.

Working across multiple opportunities simultaneously, you'll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering and Customer Success teams, ensuring customer feedback continues to influence future product innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales teams to provide technical leadership throughout enterprise sales engagements.
  • Conduct discovery workshops to understand customer requirements, business processes and technical landscapes.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations, proof of concepts and solution presentations tailored to individual customer needs.
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business outcomes for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Support RFP and proposal responses with technical content, solution designs and implementation guidance.
  • Advise customers on best practices relating to Quote-to-Cash, billing, pricing and revenue management processes.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to provide customer insight and influence future product development.
  • Develop sales enablement materials, technical playbooks and knowledge-sharing resources for internal teams.
  • Help define and improve technical sales methodologies as the organisation continues to scale.
  • Represent the business as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.

Experience

You'll be an experienced pre-sales or solution engineering professional with a passion for enterprise technology and customer success.

  • 5-7+ years' experience in Sales Engineering, Solution Consulting or Technical Pre-Sales within enterprise SaaS.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce, CPQ, billing or Quote-to-Cash technologies, with additional exposure to NetSuite/SAP/FIS or other ERP platforms considered advantageous.
  • Experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles from discovery through to technical validation and proposal.
  • Solid understanding of SaaS platforms, API integrations and enterprise application architecture.
  • The ability to communicate confidently with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • An understanding of commercial processes such as pricing, billing, finance or revenue recognition would be highly beneficial.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to thrive within a fast-paced, high-growth technology business.
  • Salesforce certifications or equivalent technical credentials are desirable.

The Opportunity

  • Join an ambitious, high-growth software company expanding rapidly across the UK and EMEA.
  • Work with enterprise customers on complex digital transformation and Quote-to-Cash initiatives.
  • Collaborate with talented Product, Engineering and Commercial teams to influence both customer success and product direction.
  • Gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies, cloud platforms and modern revenue operations.
  • Enjoy a remote-first working environment with excellent opportunities for career progression.

How to prepare for a job interview at TekSelect

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If TekSelect uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

Showcase Your Projects

Bring along a portfolio that highlights our best work. This could be code samples, GitHub repositories, or any side projects we’ve built. Make sure we can talk through our thought process for each project, especially the challenges we faced and how we solved them—this shows our problem-solving skills in action.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
