Our client is a leading, globally recognised professional services consultancy with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex digital transformation programmes for enterprise organisations across the UK and EMEA.

Following continued success across its various technology practices, the organisation is investing heavily in expanding its Intelligent Automation and Low-Code capabilities, with Appian forming a key strategic growth area. We're looking for experienced Delivery professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality technology programmes, building successful client relationships and leading multidisciplinary teams through every stage of the project lifecycle.

As a Delivery Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the successful delivery of mid market and enterprise Appian implementations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Working alongside Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Consultants and client stakeholders, you'll oversee delivery from initial discovery through to deployment and ongoing optimisation, helping organisations transform complex business processes using the Appian platform.

You'll also contribute to the continued growth of the practice by supporting delivery excellence, developing teams and helping establish best practices across the business.

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Appian implementation and transformation programmes.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks and resource planning.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams including architects, developers, business analysts and quality assurance professionals.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with governance, quality standards and client expectations.
  • Support solution planning alongside technical and functional teams.
  • Identify and manage project risks while proactively resolving delivery challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement across delivery methodologies and project governance.
  • Mentor and develop consultants, helping to build a high-performing Appian practice.
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities, delivery planning and project estimations where required.

You'll be an experienced technology delivery professional with a proven track record of successfully managing technology programmes, including Appian, within a consultancy or systems integration environment.

  • Extensive experience delivering Appian projects from initiation through to successful completion.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and programme governance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage confidently at both business and executive level.
  • Experience managing geographically distributed project teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness with responsibility for project financials, resource planning and delivery quality.
  • Appian certification or experience working closely with certified Appian delivery teams would be highly advantageous.
