Requirements
- Office Location: Birmingham
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections and report any defects or issues for goods in to Quality Departments.
- Process warranty claims from our dealers for approval by line manager.
- Liaise with Tech Support when necessary.
- Create reports for any warranty claims and send to Tech Support/Warranty Department.
- Support weekly warranty meetings with line manager.
- Liaise with OEM Warranty Departments on outstanding issues.
- Prepare customer quotations for service visit requests.
- Manage parts sales including preparation and dispatch of sales/warranty parts.
- Warehouse: On/Off load generator deliveries from factory and customers; manage genset stock including collection/delivery planning and general warehouse efficiency.
- Pre-delivery inspections of sold products and ensure paperwork is completed and assigned.
- Management of parts inventory including restocking and maintenance of area.
- Site Based: Supervise the devining progress if required; visit customer sites for warranty claims (inspection and on-site repair for Teksan issues); support customer engineering teams for Teksan engineering and servicing needs; assist engine manufacturers' field service departments on site if required; perform generator servicing at customer locations.
Qualifications
- Technical degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering (or HND/HNC or equivalent).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in diesel and gas generator maintenance.
- Hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- At least 1 year of experience using SAP systems.
- At least 1 year of experience with CRM tools.
- Familiarity with health & safety standards and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in field conditions.
- Good organizational and reporting skills.
