This is a part-time remote role for a Head of Operations / Deployment & Field Services to scale our systems from pilot sites to global deployments. You'll own the full operational lifecycle — installation, maintenance, logistics, uptime, and service quality — ensuring our robotic systems perform reliably across multiple customer locations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and execution, can build strong processes from the ground up, and is passionate about sustainability and real-world impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all field operations, deployment, and service activities across client sites, travelling often to their locations.
  • Design and implement scalable installation and maintenance processes for robotic systems.
  • Build and manage a field engineering team, contractors, and service partners.
  • Define and monitor KPIs such as system uptime, response times, and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to improve reliability and ease of deployment.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Manage supplier relationships for hardware components, logistics, and service tools.
  • Support the commercial team in project scoping, client onboarding, and post-installation support.

What we're looking for

  • Passionate about robotics, data, and technology that makes the world cleaner and smarter.
  • Experience scaling hardware systems or robotics deployments across multiple locations.
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and remote monitoring.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams, manage suppliers, and optimize service processes.
  • Excellent communication and problem‐solving skills.
  • VERY fast mover.

Requirements

  • You need to be located in the UK or Europe.
  • This position pays in equity. That means you'll receive shares of the company until funding is obtained, at which point a salary will be offered and you will be able to sell your shares if you wish.
  • We really try to be a good company. That can only be achieved by bringing people who also try to be good.
