Director - Enterprise Architecture

We are seeking a visionary Director - Enterprise Architecture to join the CTO Office, shaping cross-portfolio solutions that combine AI, CX, Cybersecurity, and Digital skilling technologies. You’ll architect scalable, standardized solutions for global clients, govern complex deals, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical strategies. You will be able to evangelise the technical solution value to our customers, and articulate how the right mix of technology will allow them to achieve their business objectives and outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Solution Design & Governance

Lead architectural reviews of high-value deals, identifying technical risks and mitigation strategies. Design multi-product solutions integrating TeKnowledge’s portfolio (AI, CX, Cybersecurity, Digital Skilling, and Tech Managed Services). Develop standard design patterns for all solution/portfolio offers. The reusable design blueprints will form the basis of the 70/30 Solution Hub approach where solutions should conform to 70% standard design with a maximum of 30% customisation. This approach is critical in ensuring that we conduct repeatable business which reduces risk and accelerators to streamline delivery and rapid time to value for customers. Present technical solutions to C-suite clients, demonstrating ROI and alignment with their goals. Collaborate with sales teams to scope complex opportunities and craft compelling proposals. Foster a culture of innovation within the CTO, Sales, and Pre-sales teams. Identify synergies between TeKnowledge’s offerings (e.g., Microsoft Copilot + AI-First CX + Cybersecurity) to create differentiated solutions. Partner with product/solution teams to refine offerings based on market feedback.

• Operational Excellence

Define best practices for solution architecture, ensuring compliance with security and scalability standards. Mentor delivery teams on architectural frameworks and emerging tech adoption.

• Strategic Leadership

Develop and implement the Architecture strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives. Provide visionary leadership to drive technological innovation and digital transformation.

• Microsoft Expertise

Utilize knowledge and experience in Azure, MS D365 to support the CTO Office and assist the CRO organization with product and solution offers.

• AI Expertise

Advise and drive the implementation of new technologies, particularly in the field of AI, to position TeKnowledge as a best-in-class AI-enabled company.

• Security and Compliance

Understand IT security and compliance requirements for solutions sold and managed for customers. Manage relationships with external IT vendors, contractors, and service providers. Collaborate with Legal and Procurement to negotiate contracts and ensure the delivery of high-quality services. Lead, mentor, and develop the CTO team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture that supports a customer-first mindset. Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to meet market and company needs.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in enterprise architecture, with at least 5+ years in customer-facing roles.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, cloud platforms, and emerging technologies.
• Working knowledge of designing solutions that include Networks (Voice and Data), Hyperscaler environments (Azure, AWS, GCP), Microservices, Business applications, Resilience, DR, Business Continuity, Security and how all these elements need to be considered when designing an e2e solution.
• Understands what is involved for OnPrem / Private Cloud workload migration to Cloud environments or Hybrid cloud environments.
• Has had experience of working with Large Enterprise customers.
• Proficiency in AI/ML, Cybersecurity frameworks, CX platforms, and Microsoft Cloud (Azure, M365, D365).
• Ability to build relationships with C-level executives, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
• Commercial appreciation of being able to articulate the commercial benefits of using cloud-based applications to customers.
• Experience with cloud computing, Data Centre and virtualization technologies.
• Experience in Enterprise Architecture, Security policies/processes and solutions.
• Experience in government, travel, healthcare, Banking & finance, or manufacturing industries is a plus.
• Exceptional presentation/storytelling abilities for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Certifications:

• TOGAF, Zachman, ITIL, CISSP, AWS/Azure/GCP certifications, or equivalent.

Willingness to travel to meet business needs as required.
