Our client is a family run FMCG organisation who have been trading for over 30 years and as a company have grown from strength to strength. They are now looking to hire a Lead Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
Your Role:
- Leading and Managing a Team of 2/3 maintenance technicians
- Training and mentoring your team
- Overseeing and conducting PPM's and Reactive Maintenance
- Attending breakdowns
- Electrical & Mechanical fault finding on PLC's, Motors, Production lines and control panels, conveyors
- Getting involved with ongoing site projects & continuous improvement
- Getting involved with H&S protocols and making changes where required
Candidate Requirements:
- Apprenticeship qualified, equivalent or qualified by experience
- Proven track record working as a Senior / Lead Engineer in a manufacturing Environment
- Proven track record with high speed processing machinery
- Proven track record with Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Welding, Electrical Fault finding, Control Panels
- Flexible and open to working weekends when required
- Electrically Biased (Desirable)
- PLC Fault Finding (Desirable)
- Welding & Fabrication (Desirable)
