Due to on-going growth and restructure, our client based in the Langley area is looking for an Electrically biased Maintenance Team Leader to join them.
Maintenance Team Leaders role: You will ensure the delivery of an effective engineering support and maintenance service in line with KPI and budget targets. This is a very important role at the forefront; you will manage, develop, inspire, and lead the engineering team on site, ensuring compliance with all company and legal standards when working. You will also be responsible for managing any contractors we have on site and liaising directly with engineering suppliers regarding maintenance and spares activity. You will be focused on continuous improvement and excellent workmanship.
Technical Skills: You will be electrically biased, passionate and enthusiastic with experience / proven track record in a similar role, within a high speed/volume manufacturing or production-type industry. You will need to have experience of managing a team, had responsibility for managing budgets, and have proven examples of where you have made continuous improvements in your current/previous roles. You will need to hold academic qualifications to support the role (mechanical, electrical, control skills), MEWP/FLT/IPAF, Six Sigma/5S/Kasien and IOSH/NEBOSH. Finally, communication skills in English and IT literacy are essential.
