TEKNIKAL Specialist Recruitment are working with a well-established, family-run business in Redbourn that is experiencing continued growth. As a result, we are now looking to recruit a skilled Heavy Plant Fitter to join their expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with a strong mechanical background to work on a wide range of specialist heavy plant machinery in both workshop and field-based environments.
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs
- Diagnosing faults across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Proven experience as a Heavy Plant Fitter or Plant Mechanic, with hands-on expertise working on equipment such as forklifts (FLT), dumper trucks, loading shovels, and excavators
- Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Knowledge of diesel engines and plant equipment
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
