About the Role:

We are recruiting an Electrically Biased Shift Engineer to join our team near Letchworth, reporting directly to the Maintenance Team Leader. You will be apprenticeshipâqualified or hold an equivalent engineering qualification.
What Youâll Be Doing:
- Carrying out preventative maintenance
- Electrical fault finding on PLCs, motors, production lines and control panels
- Responding to breakdowns
- Supporting new machinery installations
- Contributing to engineering projects
- Driving continuous improvement within the engineering team
- Identifying and resolving ongoing issues with longâterm solutions
- Working a 4 on / 4 off rotating shift (days & nights)
Technical Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or ElectroâMechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Strong mechanical and electrical competence
- Confident with electrical and PLC fault finding
