We are recruiting for an Android / Smart Phones, Apple phones Repair Technician. The role involves fault finding and repair of the phone including LCD, battery, component replacement and PCB repair.
Duties:
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mobile phone issues by identifying through testing the root cause components related to the fault.
- Soldering, reworking, repairing mobile phone components and replacement of all necessary components to affect the repair.
- Skillfully repair or replace damaged parts, including screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, speakers, and buttons.
- Maintaining repair equipment: Keep tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring they are clean and well-maintained to facilitate efficient repairs.
- Staying updated on mobile phone technology.
- Collaborating with team members: Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to exchange knowledge, seek assistance when needed, and contribute to a cooperative and productive work environment.
- Use of various technologies available to aid repair.
- Return product to customers upon repair highlighted accordingly.
- Any other reasonable technical duties.
Skills and Qualification:
- Ideally you will hold HNC or have relevant experience.
- You must have previous working knowledge of electronics sector and mobile phone repairs.
- Able to fault find down to component level.
- Experience with electronic test equipment, repair tools and technology.
- Good ability for fault finding and experience working in a test and repair environment.
Timing & Location:
Our shift patterns run from 09:00 am to 06:00 pm, Business timings are Monday to Saturday 09:00 am to 06:00 pm & Sunday 10:00 am to 04:00 pm.
