Duties:
- The IT Engineer / Computer repairer will be taking care of design, installation, configuration, upgrade and maintenance of computer systems and associated infrastructure.
- Identify hardware and software problems by analyzing symptoms, performing tests, and using diagnostic tools to determine the root cause of issues.
- Repair or replace faulty hardware components such as motherboards, hard drives, memory modules, graphics cards, power supplies, and peripherals.
- Upgrade hardware components to improve performance or meet customer requirements.
- Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and software applications.
- Detect and remove viruses, malware, and other malicious software from infected computers.
- Install and configure antivirus software to prevent future infections.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, including problem descriptions, solutions applied, and parts used.
- Generate reports on repair activities and statistics.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Should be educated to degree level or hold an equivalent vocational qualification in relevant field, or if not a degree holder, should be able to demonstrate relevant equivalent experience or industry certification.
- Should be proficient in operating systems such as Windows, Linux or Mac OS.
- Familiarity with hardware components and computer architecture.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, end-users and other IT professionals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
- Self-motivation and a proactive approach to learning and professional development.
Timing & Location:
Our shift patterns run from 09:00 am to 06:00 pm. Business timings are Monday to Saturday 09:00 am to 06:00 pm & Sunday 10:00 am to 04:00 pm.
