Trainee Paraplanner - Sutton Coldfield - £35,000 +
We are working with a well establishedwealth management and financial planning firmin Sutton Coldfield who are looking to add a junior or trainee paraplanner to their support team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone withexisting paraplanning exposurewho wants to develop into afully competent Paraplannerwithin a structured, supportive environment.
The Role
You’ll work closely with Financial Advisers on a pooled basis, supporting the advice process through research, analysis, and report preparation. Candidates must ideally already have some paraplanning or technical support experience.
The firm has a strong track record of developing junior paraplanners, with clear progression to full paraplanner status within12–18 months, depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Support advisers withtechnical research and analysis
- Assist with preparation of suitability reports and advice documentation
- Carry out product and fund research
- Support client reviews and annual review preparation
- Work closely with advisers (approx.1 paraplanner to 2 advisers)
What They’re Looking For
- Someexisting paraplanning or technical support experience(essential)
- Working towards level 4 Diploma, ideally a minimum 3 RO exams.
- Strong understanding of the advice process
- Good attention to detail and analytical skills
They would also consider afully qualified Paraplannerif the experience and salary expectations align.
