Mission:
The Maritime Delivery role sits within TEKEVER Defence Business Development Unit and involves both project delivery and business development responsibilities. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a flagship maritime ISR projects that aim to deliver enduring capability for our users. This will cover a range of TEKEVER platforms, command and control integration, and wider interoperability.
You will support the Director of Business Development in TEKEVER's engagement, building a close customer relationship with senior stakeholders, supporting the development and implementation of capability plans and operational concepts. While you will work in the UK, Middle East and Africa team, your there will be a requirement to consider global use cases and integration challenges assisting on engagement with key international partners and interested stakeholders. You will champion TEKEVER's ethos of solving customer problems not simply by delivering equipment, but working closely with partners to ensure TEKEVER continues to innovate and iterate against some of the most demanding user needs.
You will conduct a variety of project management roles (scheduling, documentation, engagement meetings) in order to support the successful delivery of maritime projects, working jointly across all major TEKEVER business areas. This will include working with product teams, operations, and R&D to ensure a 'one team' effort meeting challenging customer demands. You will also be part of a team managing complex maritime training and maintenance plans, working with the UK MOD and international navy partners to build customer’s ability to generate, sustain and operate complex ISR capabilities.
Working with communications and business development, you will support corporate communication strategies and BD activities for NATO and wider customers across various regions. You will be expected to travel frequently to customer locations in the UK, Portugal, Africa, Far East and the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management of maritime focused contracts, ensuring key deliverables are achieved in accordance with agreed deadlines which include but are not limited to: Training, delivery of aircraft, maintenance, spares provision and supporting documentation.
- Act as a liaison between end users and our product teams to ensure feedback on the performance of our products and emerging requirements are captured and added to product roadmaps.
- Stakeholder management – both internally and externally – to ensure all relevant parties are kept updated on the progress of your projects and are included in relevant decision-making processes.
- Represent TEKEVER at trade shows, conferences and industry days, which may include presenting to large audiences.
- Plan demonstrations of our products for potential customers and supervise the successful delivery of this activity – which may include being present at the demonstration site.
Profile & Requirements:
- Experience of Project Management within the Defence industry. This can be either from a Defence company or from within the Military.
- A broad understanding of the Royal Navy, including key entities such as CSF, CSG as well as UAS focused units such as 700X.
- Stakeholder management experience in a Defence environment.
- Experience delivering output in a high-tempo environment with limited resources.
- Evidence of the ability to learn a new role in a high-tempo environment within a short period of time.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a complex and frequently changing calendar.
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of Agile PM principles.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Communication skills (written, verbal, presentations).
