ekAlloy are proud to be working with a leading engineering and manufacturing business in our area. They are looking for Maintenance and Servicing Engineers to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis. Joining a team of long servers and some highly skilled Engineers, the successful person will service, maintain and repair a range of bespoke machinery. Overtime is available paid at enhanced rates.
Duties:
- Carrying out maintenance, overhaul and installation work on new and refurbished equipment, including Pumps, Valves, Actuators and Hydraulic Equipment and bespoke machinery.
- Adhering to strict health & safety standards specific to customer’s industry standards (Steel Processing, Power Generation etc.).
- Holding NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in mechanical engineering.
- Reacting to urgent breakdowns reducing machine downtime to a minimum.
- Assisting with projects and the installation of new plant machinery.
- Assisting with developing and implementing line improvements, new installations, offline repairs, planned maintenance and any other tasks deemed appropriate by the engineering manager.
