Tejas Networks is seeking an accomplished sales leader to drive revenue growth across Europe for our comprehensive telecom product portfolio, spanning wireline (fiber/optical, IP/MPLS, transport) and wireless (RAN/5G/Private 5G).
The VP â Sales (Europe) will:
- Define and execute the regional go-to-market strategy.
- Establish and develop customer relationships from the ground up, bringing new accounts and clients across the European region.
- Deliver sustained growth across Tierâ1/2 operators, alternative carriers, wholesale, enterprise, and public sector segments.
- Expand strategic partnerships with operators, integrators, and channel partners.
What you work:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and qualify potential customers through research and outreach; maintain a robust pipeline.
- Sales Execution: Deliver compelling presentations, product demos, and value propositions; negotiate and close deals to meet targets.
- Account Management: Foster longâterm client relationships, address queries, and ensure superior afterâsales support.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities; share insights with marketing and product teams for continuous improvement.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate sales reports and forecasts; analyze KPIs and recommend corrective actions.
- CrossâFunctional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, operations, and finance to ensure seamless order fulfilment and contribute to overall business strategy.
- Own regional P&L and deliver revenue and growth targets.
- Identify and qualify potential customers through market research, networking, and outreach; maintain a strong pipeline of leads.
- Present, promote, and sell Tejas Networksâ wireline and wireless solutions, including 4G/5G offerings, to prospective customers.
- Build and nurture longâterm strategic relationships with key customers to drive sustained growth.
Mandatory skills:
- Proven success in managing regional/multiâcountry revenue for large, complex deals, including framework agreements and multiâyear programs.
- Strong track record selling to Tierâ1/Tierâ2 operators, wholesale/neutral hosts, and enterprise/private 5G buyers across Europe.
- Expertise in solution selling, RFP cycles, procurement, and European regulatory environments.
- Experience managing matrixed teams and collaborating with product, engineering, finance, legal, and delivery functions.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional European languages (German, French, Spanish, Italian) highly desirable.
- Willingness to work from major European hubs (UK, Germany, Spain, France, Poland etc.) and travel extensively across Europe.
Desired Skills:
- Executive presence with boardâlevel communication skills; adept at negotiating complex commercial terms.
- Strong financial acumen (deal modeling, priceâtoâvalue, margin optimization, working capital).
- Deep knowledge of technologies such as Open RAN, vRAN, 5G SA, network slicing, FTTx, DWDM/OTN, SDN/NFV, SDâWAN/SASE, private 5G, and integrations with OSS/BSS and cloud ecosystems.
- Dataâdriven leadership: pipeline coverage ratios, winârate analysis, cycle time reduction, forecast accuracy.
- High cultural agility; capable of operating across diverse European markets and regulatory environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: 25+ years of progressive sales leadership in telecom product sales (wireline and wireless).
