Nursery Manager - Streatham

TEJ Education is recruiting an experienced Nursery Manager for a well-established nursery group in Streatham, South London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who is confident leading a nursery team, maintaining high standards of care and education and supporting the continued development of a busy nursery setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery, leading and supporting staff and ensuring children receive a safe, nurturing and stimulating Early Years experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the nursery
- Managing, motivating and developing the Early Years team
- Maintaining high standards across the EYFS
- Supporting safeguarding, health & safety and compliance requirements
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers
- Supporting staff development, supervision and training
- Maintaining excellent standards in preparation for Ofsted
- Ensuring occupancy, staffing and nursery operations are effectively managed
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager or senior Early Years leadership experience
- Holds a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
- Has a strong understanding of the EYFS
- Has good knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
- Is confident managing and developing a team
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
