Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Care Assistant/Senior/Activity Coordinator based in Shaldon, Devon. We are looking for night staff (x2 FT), 1 Senior (FT), plus an Activity Coordinator (FT). As a traditional English company, we offer our staff weekly wages, so every Friday is a pay day!

Successful candidates will be responsible for providing support/care, assisting residents with daily activities, and supporting individuals with other needs. Daily tasks may include helping with meal preparation, assisting with mobility, engaging in conversation, and offering emotional support to residents. The Care Assistant will also ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for all individuals under their care.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Manual Handling and Caregiving
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities
  • Specialized experience in Dementia Care
  • Empathy, patience, and a caring nature for supporting individuals
  • Basic understanding of health and safety principles in a care setting
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Relevant training or certifications in caregiving or health and social care is advantageous
