Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Care Assistant/Senior/Activity Coordinator based in Shaldon, Devon. We are looking for night staff (x2 FT), 1 Senior (FT), and an Activity Coordinator (FT). As a traditional English company, we offer our staff weekly wages, so every Friday is a pay day!
Successful candidates will be responsible for providing support and care, assisting residents with daily activities, and supporting individuals with other needs. Daily tasks may include:
- Helping with meal preparation
- Assisting with mobility
- Engaging in conversation
- Offering emotional support to residents
The Care Assistant will also ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for all individuals under their care.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Manual Handling and Caregiving
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities
- Specialized experience in Dementia Care
- Empathy, patience, and a caring nature for supporting individuals
- Basic understanding of health and safety principles in a care setting
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Relevant training or certifications in caregiving or health and social care is advantageous
