Responsibilities
We are looking for a new Van Driver/Labourer to assist the team in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness within the Teignbridge District. You will have a driving licence to drive a 3.5t vehicle and be able to work independently with an eye for detail and a desire to keep the district clean and tidy for residents and visitors. You will enjoy working as part of a team to deliver on our vision of making Teignbridge a healthy and desirable place where people want to live, work and visit.
Qualifications
- A full, category B UK driving licence
- The level of fitness to carry out the role such as walking long distances and heavy lifting on a daily basis
- A good knowledge of health & safety legislation
- Good communication skills and the ability to remain calm and level-headed under pressure
