The predicted salary is between 16 - 17 £ per hour.

Overview: Casual and contracted positions available. Salary £16.90 - £17.47 per hour (subject to 26/27 pay review). Locations: Dawlish Leisure Centre and Newton Abbot Leisure Centre.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging swimming lessons for all ages and skill levels, ensuring lessons are delivered to the Swim England standard.
  • Deliver swimming lessons during the day for local primary schools, as well as after-school and weekend lessons for our Swim School.
  • Adapt teaching style to meet the different needs of swimmers and build rapport with swimmers and parents.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Love for teaching swimming and water safety.
  • Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with swimmers and parents.
  • Ability to adapt teaching style to different needs.
  • Good knowledge of correct swimming techniques and creative teaching ideas.

Not qualified? We are also holding an STA Level 2 Teachers Course starting Monday 22 June for 6 days at Newton Abbot Leisure Centre. The cost is £365.00. Training Agreements will be considered for the right applicant. Terms and Conditions apply.
