Dawlish Leisure Centre
37 hours per week
£12.65 – £13.05 per hour
2 week rota – A weekend on and then a weekend off; early morning shifts on week 1 and late shifts on week 2

We are currently looking for enthusiastic candidates to join our friendly and professional team as a Lifeguard. You may be an experienced lifeguard / leisure assistant, a recently qualified lifeguard, or someone looking to take their first steps in the leisure industry. A Lifeguard job role is a customer facing role, therefore, we are looking for candidates who are customer focused, with a passion for the leisure industry. We would like our customers and employees to have the best experience possible. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
Duties will include lifeguarding poolside at various times, cleaning tasks and greeting our centre users.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have an up-to-date Pool Lifeguard and First Aid qualification (or able to complete prior to start date).
- Have excellent observational and communication skills.
- Be able to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
- Be a team player with a proactive attitude.
- Previous lifeguarding experience is a plus.
