Permanent role. £32,597 - £33,699 per annum, 37 hours per week. We do things well and keep developing. Join the recycling and refuse team as an LGV Driver Loader and be part of the vital crew keeping the area clean, safe, and reducing the environmental impact of waste.
You will have a full Class C drivers’ licence, be able to do heavy lifting and walk long distances on a daily basis. We’re better together. You will enjoy working together as part of a team to deliver on our vision of making Teignbridge a healthy and desirable place where people want to live, work and visit.

Responsibilities and Success Criteria
- Hold a current Class C Driving licence for large Goods Vehicles, essential, and a valid Drivers CPC, desirable.
- Have the level of fitness necessary to carry out the physical duties of the post such as walking long distances and heavy lifting on a daily basis.
- Be available for occasional weekend work.
- Enjoy helping people, remaining patient, level‑headed, and cool under pressure.
- Think on your feet when things change, being flexible and putting safety first.
- Be motivated and team focussed, working as a team, to get things right first time.
- Understand that to get the job done well you will step out of the driver’s seat to help the team as a loader where needed.
