Finance Systems Support Analyst

Permanent, 37 hours per week (full‑time, or part‑time from 30 hours over 5 working days). Salary: £31,022 – £33,699 per annum (subject to 26/27 pay review).

About The Role

We are looking for a Finance Systems Support Analyst to support our Finance Systems Analyst/Administrator and provide cover when needed.

The role involves assisting with the design, development, implementation and integration of finance systems and processes, creating user documentation and supporting future upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the design, development, change, implementation, testing and integration of all financial systems, processes, procedures and reports (Pay360, Claim Control, Smarter Pay and in‑house finance management system).
  • Create accessible key user documentation for all financial systems, processes and procedures.
  • Assist with future upgrades and optimisation of implemented solutions within the finance department, including systems and reporting solutions.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 products (Excel, Teams, Outlook).
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills for business analysis, including tables, charts and pivot tables.
  • Ability to manipulate data, produce pivot tables, identify system errors and analyse for correction.
  • Strong multi‑tasking and time‑management skills.
  • Attention to detail, level‑headed, and a positive approach to work.
  • Good customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly with colleagues, the public and partner agencies.
