£93,688 – £100,549 per annum

TDC is developing a One Teignbridge strategy, whose key themes encompass Community, Economy, Environment, Homes, and Infrastructure. As an SLT member you will help lead delivery of this, alongside guiding TDC through Local Government Reorganisation, ensuring a legacy built on strong foundations.
We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced finance professional to develop their career, joining us as Director of Corporate Service & Chief Finance Officer. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead across a broad range of corporate resources: Finance & Audit, Procurement, Legal, Democratic Services, Assets, HR & OD.
In your role as Chief Finance Officer, you will be responsible for finance strategy and stewardship, ensuring financial sustainability with a focus on delivering good governance and effective risk management alongside achieving council priorities.
As a director and key member of TDC’s Strategic Leadership Team (SLT), you will work collaboratively to ensure effective service planning, delivery and transformation, supported by strong internal and external partnership working.
If you are experienced and CIPFA, CIMA, ACCA (or equivalent) qualified, ideally with local government experience, and are seeking a leadership role where you can make a difference, working with great people, in a beautiful part of the South-West please get in touch.
