The predicted salary is between 12.85 - 13.05 £ per hour.

Salary: £12.85-£13.05 per hour (subject to 26/27 review)

Location: Dawlish Leisure Centre

Working Hours: 32.25 hours per week: Monday 06:15-15:45; Tuesday 06:15-14:00; Thursday 15:30-21:45; Friday 13:00-21:45. Availability to pick up shifts on a casual basis on top if required.

Role Overview: We are currently looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our friendly and professional team as a Lifeguard. We welcome applications from experienced Lifeguards and Leisure Assistants, newly qualified, and individuals eager to begin a career in the leisure industry. As this is a customer-facing role, a strong commitment to customer service and a genuine passion for leisure are essential.

Duties: Duties will include lifeguarding poolside at various times, cleaning tasks and greeting our centre users.

Requirements:

  • Have an up-to-date Pool Lifeguard and First Aid qualification (or able to complete prior to start date).
  • Have excellent observational and communication skills.
  • Be able to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
  • Be a team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Previous lifeguarding experience is a plus.
