We are now looking for a talented and proactive Procurement Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Bring your skills, your ideas, your drive and help us shape the future of housing in Devon.
About the Procurement Coordinator role
Championing best value and best practice, you will support the delivery of an effective and responsive procurement service to meet our evolving needs. Ensuring adherence with the Procurement Act 2003, you will plan and execute tenders, engage new and existing suppliers and make certain that the contracts register is accurate and up-to-date, whilst assisting with contractual management. Above all, you will maintain meticulous records, including the provision of detailed management information and performance data, so you will require exceptional attention to detail in everything you do. This is a full-time, permanent position working 37 hours per week.
About you
To join us, you should be well versed in professional purchasing principles and will ideally hold a relevant degree or CIPS Level 4 qualification. In particular, you should be aware of public sector procurement requirements, familiar with contracts registers, supplier data or purchase-to-pay processes, and well versed in information management systems such as SharePoint. Finally, you should be keen to attain MCIPS status with our support and determined to apply your outstanding administrative skills to make a real difference every day.
