We are now looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll and Finance Coordinator to join our Finance & Investments Team. Bring your skills, your ideas, and your drive, and help us shape the future of housing in Devon.
About the Payroll and Finance Coordinator Role: In this varied and rewarding role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and financial transactions for our internal and external customers, supporting the organisation's overall financial operations and compliance. Collaborating closely with colleagues across Finance, HR, and the wider organisation, you will ensure high standards of service delivery and financial control. We are on a journey to improve our processes, maximise our technology and grow as an organisation as our house-build and repair subsidiary joins with us and we truly become One Team.
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Processing end-to-end payroll and maintaining records and lifecycles, including starters, leavers and contract changes
- Calculating statutory payments and deductions, including tax, NI, and pensions
- Reconciling payroll accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Improving the use of systems, processes and technology for efficiency and accuracy
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- General finance support, including processing invoices
