Teign Housing is a successful social landlord employing over 200 ambitious, committed people, responsible for managing more than 4,000 homes across South Devon. We are passionate about giving our residents the best possible homes, and as an Estates Caretaker/Cleaner, you will help us make the place we live look even better.

About the Estates Caretaker/Cleaner role: Dealing with everything from internal communal areas to external car parks, bin areas and flower beds, you will set the highest standards of hygiene and make certain that public spaces are litter-free. At the same time, you will maintain a broad range of cleaning equipment and report any failures to your manager, and will on occasion liaise with external contractors, so you can expect considerable variety and real job satisfaction. This is a part-time role for 32 hours per week.

About you: To join us, you should possess sound cleaning and caretaking experience, preferably gained within a social housing environment. A formal health and safety qualification would be useful, as would awareness of risk assessments, but more importantly you will be a hard worker with deep passion for getting things done and making communal areas even better.
