Join one of the UK's leading performance automotive companies and play a key role in preparing, maintaining, and developing an exciting fleet of race, rally, and performance vehicles. Based at Tegiwa HQ, you'll work on a diverse range of vehicles — including our NSX Time Attack car, race and rally cars, imported vehicles, and our fleet of staff cars. This is a hands‑on, multi‑faceted role for an experienced mechanic who enjoys variety, precision, and working in a fast‑paced automotive environment.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare, maintain, and develop our NSX Time Attack car and other race and rally cars
- Carry out motorsport‑specific setup work, including string alignment, corner weighting, suspension setup, and geometry adjustments
- Fit and balance tyres for race cars, staff vehicles, and customer vehicles
- Install and configure aftermarket performance upgrades — exhausts, induction kits, suspension, brakes, cooling and aero from leading brands such as Milltek and Eventuri
- Service and maintain a diverse fleet of 25+ company vehicles, from modern daily drivers to classic and performance cars including BMW, Honda, Nissan and Datsun
- Inspect, prepare, service, and rectify vehicles imported by the business
- Carry out engine, gearbox and drivetrain removal, installation and repair work as required
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out repairs efficiently
- Assist with vehicle preparation for track days, events, and motorsport activities
- Present confidently on camera for installation guides, product demonstrations and video content
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
- Work closely with other departments to support company projects and customer requirements
Who You Are
- An experienced mechanic with a genuine passion for motorsport and performance vehicles
- Knowledgeable in vehicle setup, wheel alignment, suspension setup and corner weighting
- Confident servicing and repairing independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Comfortable using diagnostic equipment and fault‑finding modern vehicle systems
- Comfortable presenting and communicating on camera for video content
Bonus Points
- Experience with race, rally, or track car preparation
- Knowledge of Honda, BMW and VAG platforms
- Experience with Honda K‑Series
- Forced induction experience — turbocharger and supercharger installations
- Welding or fabrication experience
- Experience installing aftermarket performance parts
- Familiarity with data logging and race vehicle setup
- Track‑side support and race weekend operations experience
