We’re actively seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Data Insights and Business Intelligence Manager to join our team based in our Head office Newmarket. This is a hands-on, strategic leadership role that blends business acumen with advanced analytics. You’ll lead a talented team responsible for transforming complex data into meaningful insights that influence decisions across the organisation.
In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee the development and optimisation of BI tools, databases, and analytics platforms—ensuring Tegel has the robust data foundations needed to understand performance, anticipate trends, and drive growth. Your ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly will empower leaders to make confident, informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality Business Intelligence to key stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a team of analysts and developers to enhance BI processes and systems.
- Drive the strategic design, development, and maintenance of BI applications.
- Present data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making across the business.
- Create compelling dashboards and reports that bring data to life.
- Oversee all data-related capabilities, including IoT and Big Data initiatives.
- Manage enterprise-wide data reporting and provide direct support, including after-hours coverage when required.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Diploma or Degree) in a business or data-related field.
- 10+ years of proven experience leading data-driven initiatives.
- Demonstrated success managing and developing high-performing data teams.
- Strong report-writing skills and expert-level proficiency in Power BI.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Commercial savvy paired with a sharp analytical mindset.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office/M365.
