Contract type: Fixed Term (Average hours 23.5 per week), 23.5 hours per week, duration: 17 September 2026 – 27 June 2027
Basis: Part time (average 23.5 hours per week, 41 weeks in the academic year)
These posts are restricted to full‑time students at Teesside University enrolled for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Responsibilities
- Provide out‑of‑hours support to students residing in Teesside University accommodation during evenings and weekends (on‑call from 7 p. m. to 6 a. m. each evening).
- Complete daytime weekend shifts on a rota arrangement at Cornell Quarter.
- Attend Open Days, Campus Visit Days and Offer Holder Days, welcoming prospective students to campus.
- Maintain professional relationships with the Accommodation Team, Security Team and students, providing a consistent, high‑quality service.
- Support students’ wellbeing and contribute to the overall student experience.
Qualifications & Eligibility
- Full‑time student at Teesside University, enrolled for the 2026/2027 academic year.
- Not on Tier 4 (General) visa (students on that visa are limited to 20 hours per week during term time).
- Warden Team Leader roles require residents to live onsite in a University residence; appropriate weekly rent will be invoiced separately.
- Must be able to demonstrate meeting all criteria on the personal specification.
