You will play a key role in the creation and delivery of high‑quality digital art and visual content that supports research, knowledge exchange, commercial activity, business engagement and external partnerships. You will work closely with colleagues across the University, the Investment Zone team, external stakeholders and business partners to understand briefs and deliver impactful visual solutions from concept to completion. As Senior Digital Artist you will be part of a cross‑institutional team with support from colleagues across the School of Computing, Engineering & Digital Technologies, the Research & Enterprise Office and the wider Investment Zone programme.
Responsibilities
- Create and deliver high‑quality digital art and visual content that supports research, knowledge exchange, commercial activity, business engagement, and external partnerships.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the University, the Investment Zone team, external stakeholders and business partners to understand briefs and deliver impactful visual solutions from concept to completion.
- Work with colleagues across multiple units to contribute to innovation activities that support regional growth.
Qualifications
- Experience in digital art, visual content creation or related creative practice.
- Technical capability in producing high‑quality 2D and/or 3D digital assets for a range of project needs.
- Experience of taking work from brief to final delivery, balancing creativity, technical requirements and deadlines.
- Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders and translate ideas into compelling visual outputs.
- Interest in applying digital and creative expertise to business innovation, commercial projects and collaborative partnerships.
