Every member of our University is part of the inspiring, supportive, and caring community known as Team Teesside. Teesside University is seeking a Research Associate to support delivery of the EPSRC funded MECRETE project, which is advancing mechano-chemical recycling technologies to enable low carbon valorisation of mineral and construction wastes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-impact applied research with strong industrial and policy relevance.
Responsibilities
- The postholder will lead defined strands of laboratory and pilot-scale experimental research, working closely with academic staff, a senior Research Technician and external partners.
- Designing and delivering experimental programmes, analysing and interpreting results, and contributing to project outputs including demonstrators, reports and publications.

- Holiday entitlement of 185 hours (25 days), increasing to 28 and 30 days after 3 and 5 years’ service respectively, plus bank holidays.
