Join Us: Project Officer – Research Professional Futures Project

Teesside University is seeking a proactive and highly organised Project Officer to join the Research Professional Futures (RPF) project — a sector-leading initiative funded by Research England to reshape how research is delivered across UK Higher Education.

As part of a dynamic and collaborative team, you will provide essential administrative support to a multi-institutional programme that champions the visibility, development, and impact of Research Professionals (RPs). Working closely with the Project Manager and Programme Delivery Group, you’ll help coordinate meetings, manage communications, support stakeholder engagement, and assist with the delivery of key project outputs including events, surveys, and digital resources.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-profile national initiative involving partners such as Durham University, Imperial College London, Department of Education at the University of Oxford, Research Consulting, ARMA, and the PRISM Network. You’ll be part of a team driving innovation, inclusivity, and efficiency in research support, and helping to shape the future of the UK’s research ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Provide essential administrative support to a multi-institutional programme that champions the visibility, development, and impact of Research Professionals (RPs).
  • Coordinate meetings, manage communications, support stakeholder engagement, and assist with the delivery of key project outputs including events, surveys, and digital resources.
