Netball is a popular sport at Teesside University for students across all experience levels, offering both competitive BUCS participation for higher level players and a more participatory, social experience for those who enjoy the sport or are new to it. We are recruiting a Netball Coach for the 2026/27 academic year. The successful applicant will coach participants from a wide range of abilities and cultural backgrounds, hold a Sports Coach or equivalent qualification, and have an appreciation of netball in a university environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coach participants from a wide range of abilities and cultural backgrounds.
  • Work as part of the Teesside Sport team to deliver an excellent offering to students within netball.
  • Contribute to sports performance, student experience, sense of belonging, and health and wellbeing.

Qualifications

  • Hold a Sports Coach or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to work with diverse student populations.
