Teesside University is looking for a Management Accounting Assistant to become part of the team. The successful person will be able to analyse budget variances, working mainly with Excel and our Agresso finance system, for key schools and services, providing their main point of contact for financial support. They will attend budget meetings and run regular and ad hoc reports as required. Attention to detail, good people skills and an ability to plan and prioritise your own workload is essential. Training and supervision will be provided.

Please be advised that due to the minimum salary thresholds imposed by the UKVI, this post will not qualify for University sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route. If you are shortlisted, your interview will take place via Microsoft Teams. Please note that the University may ask you to participate in a number of selection activities as part of the recruitment process for this vacancy. Interviews will take place on 9 February 2026.
